As a crucial member of our kitchen staff, the Line Cook is essential in preparing high-quality food that delights our guests. You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient kitchen operations and contributing to outstanding guest satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistent and delicious results for our guests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Inform your immediate supervisor of any ingredient shortages, equipment malfunctions, or other operational issues, and proactively suggest solutions.
- Accurately and efficiently prepare and plate food orders in a timely manner to support smooth service.
- Ensure all food items are cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively before serving.
- Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food supplies according to established procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with dishwashing and other kitchen duties as needed to maintain a clean and functional environment.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen and service team members to ensure seamless order execution and guest satisfaction.
- Foster a positive and cooperative working relationship with all Dave & Buster's team members to cultivate a productive and enjoyable work environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Walk or stand for the entire duration of your shift.
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift to handle food, equipment, and supplies.
- Possess basic knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
