As a Dishwasher at Dave & Buster's, you're a vital part of our kitchen team, ensuring a clean and safe environment for food preparation and service. Your efforts directly contribute to our Guests' overall positive experience by supporting a smoothly running operation.
Nitty Gritty Details:
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in the dishwashing area, kitchen, and other designated zones.
- Keeps the Kitchen Manager promptly informed of any equipment malfunctions, chemical shortages, or other issues. Takes immediate action to resolve problems or suggests alternative solutions.
- Ensures a steady supply of clean dishes, utensils, and cookware is available for the culinary team in a timely manner.
- Operates and maintains dishwashing machinery according to safety and operational guidelines.
- Assists with basic kitchen tasks, such as bussing tables, taking out trash, and general cleaning, as needed.
- Follows all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a healthy work environment.
- Communicates effectively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Assists in receiving and storing deliveries of kitchen supplies and chemicals.
- Properly sorts and stacks clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated storage areas.
- Monitors water temperature and chemical levels in the dishwashing machine to ensure optimal cleaning.
- Reports any spills or potential hazards to the Kitchen Manager immediately.
- Helps maintain the overall organization and cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas.
- Assists other Kitchen Team Members when required to ensure efficient operations.
- Contributes to a positive and cooperative working atmosphere with all team members to foster good morale and productivity.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
